Be Careful With the Doors: Guard Your Gates

A home without the alarm set, a door left unlocked, or the garage open all have the same thing in common: they are vulnerable to being robbed and attacked. In the same way, you would only feel secure in your home by locking every window and door or setting the alarm. Your soul in the spirit requires the same level of security. Think of a large, 4-sided fortress, each side with a door. At the center of the fortress lies a massive castle with riches untold. Each side with its' door represents an entrance. These doors represent your spiritual gates of entry, being the eyes (sight), the ears (hearing), the mouth (speech), and your body (touch). The center, the castle, represents your mind. We are called to be aware of our doors to guard them from the demonic kingdom and its ruler, Satan. "Be Careful With the Doors" is about recognizing the vulnerabilities in your spiritual home that is your soul and guarding them properly.
